Boone County is asking voters to approve a new sales tax for a new jail on November 3. But building more jails doesn't make us safer—it destabilizes lives and diverts resources from real public safety solutions like treatment, housing, and prevention.

We have less than 3 weeks to talk to our neighbors. Join us for our canvassing kickoff and help spread the word: Vote No on Prop L.

What You'll Do

We'll provide talking points, pair you with experienced canvassers, and head into nearby neighborhoods to have real conversations with voters about why Proposition L is bad for our community.

No experience necessary. Training provided.
